02 Project case study

Catarman Dog Pound & Animal Shelter Management System

A fully built capstone system for animal-shelter operations, presented with the cleaned implementation available for inspection.

Status

Presented, not deployed

My role

Frontend, backend, and documentation from end to end.

Evidence

Public code evidence

Outcome

Presented as the main capstone implementation; not deployed because there was no time to deploy it.

Context

CDP&ASMS is my main capstone project: a fully built working implementation for managing dog-pound and animal-shelter operations. It was presented, but it was not deployed because there was no time to complete deployment.

My role

I handled the frontend, backend, and project documentation end to end within the capstone work.

Implementation evidence

The cleaned public repository provides the inspectable code evidence. It contains a PHP MVC application backed by MySQL, with a session-backed interface and JSON API. The repository also records the implementation areas for shelter operations, including adoption, medical records, inventory, reporting, and notifications.

Current state

This is presented academic work backed by a public code repository—not a deployed production service, a live demo, or a claim of real operational use.

Evidence boundary. This page publishes only the project details that are safe and supported. Private records, staff names, credentials, and unsupported deployment claims stay out of the portfolio.
